What’s the Plan
11 Jun 2026 @ 2PM
(Still under construction: Ezra & Leah were talking too fast for me to keep up. I will try to get better notes from the replay).
On 7 May 2026, What’s the Plan guest was Randy Villegas. Randy ran in CA District 22 and won. The DCCC put a lot of money behind Randy’s opponent. It was thought that Randy’s appearance on What’s the Plan and local Indivisible support helped Randy get over the finish line.
(Other races and candidate will be added here as soon as I hear the replay).
Maine: Graham Platner won the Democratic Primary. Susan Collins must be defeated.
Yes and No Coalitions:
Example: A “No Coalition” doesn’t have a specific agenda…”save our democracy”.
Example: A “Yes Coalition” has an actionable agenda…save our democracy by supporting a particular candidate and holding that candidate accountable; save our democracy by pushing for a certain policy.
A question was asked about the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Ezra & Leah didn’t have the updated info. So, here it is:
Editor’s note:
The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact has now been enacted by 19 jurisdictions possessing 222 of the 270 electoral votes needed to activate it.
Six additional states with 65 electoral votes (Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) are especially promising places for obtaining the 48 electoral votes needed before 2028.
If you have contacts in Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, please contact them.
Refer your contact to the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) website. Once at the NPVIC website, they will simply enter their zip code to send letters to their personal state representatives* asking them to vote for the NPVIC legislation.

Editor’s note: The House vote to withdrawal our military from Iran was not mentioned. Think of the impact Indivisible could have had if we had been asked to immediately write to our Senators asking them to support this legislation. I will certainly mention this oversight in the follow-up to today’s call. I will also send an additional email to our membership asking them to contact Hyde-Smith and Wicker.
June is Pride month. Consider participating in.
Indivisible National is aware of other organizations using the “No Kings” momentum to build their membership.
More info will be forthcoming about what rapid response we will have if 47 tries to cancel the November elections.
Nothing is being planned for the 4th of July as most folks will be involved with their own celebrations.
What can we do to protest CBS: the suggestion was made to cancel our Paramount Plus subscriptions. Ezra and Leah didn’t get behind this idea. Editor’s note: Why? We’ve had success with Disney, Spotify, Allegiant, etc.
Medicaid cut are coming courtesy of the Big Beautiful Bill. Another reason we have to change Congress this November.
After the elections we can’t just move on. Folks need to be held accountable. Another Editor’s note: This is why a new Democratic Congress and frankly the next President will spend much of their time fixing what this regime has broken.
Hawaii:
- The Legal Approach: Instead of regulating the speech of corporations, the law redefines the basic powers the state grants to artificial entities (like corporations, LLCs, and partnerships). It clarifies that state-granted privileges do not include the power to spend money influencing elections or ballot measures. [1, 2, 3]
- Impact: It effectively blocks corporations and "dark money" groups from using unlimited funds to influence Hawaii's elections, while leaving the political rights of natural persons untouched. [1, 2]
- Effective Date: The legislation takes effect on July 1, 2027. [1]
Hawaii also passed House Bill 2050 to strengthen the state's partial public financing of elections program. This measure aims to increase expenditure limits for candidates who voluntarily agree to cap campaign spending and raises the overall amount of public matching funds they can receive. [1]
28 May 2026 @ 2PM
On 14 Jun there is a big Birthday Party at the White House for 47’s 80th birthday. Indivisible will not be counter protesting but instead is encouraging folks to organize watch parties for Flag Day which is also on 14 Jun 2026.

1. Guest: Brad Lander is challenging Democrat Dan Goldman to represent New York’s 10th congressional district. Much was said about Goldman’s acceptance of donations from various groups to finance his campaign. (Landers is accepting only grass roots donations.).
Landers also made objections to Goldman’s voting record. To learn more about Brad Landers just Google his Wikipedia. There you will find a detailed accounting of his experience and policy views.
Indivisible National has endorsed Landers. If you choose to make a donation, here’s the link:

You can split a donation between Indivisible and Brad Lander's campaign here.
2. There is not an upcoming No Kings on the calendar.
3. Flag Day is 14 June 2026. Apparently, 47 is planning a big to do at the White House for his 80th birthday. Indivisible won’t be adding to his audience. Instead there may be information next week about celebrating Flag Day locally.

7 May 2026 @ 2PM
1. Guest: Randy Villegas: running for CA District 22. Since Jan 2023 this Central Valley seat has been held by Republican David Valadao.
Randy Villegas is a PhD educator and community activist. He was born to immigrant parents and raised in the Central Valley. Villegas is endorsed by Indivisible after the “Mothership” polled local residents about their preference of a candidate. Villegas’ campaign donations are not tied to PACS or corporate donors.
State Assembly member Dr. Jasmeet Bains, is considered a moderate Democrat and has been endorsed by the DCCC. Calls to the DCCC Washington, D.C. office revealed the DCCC never polled local residents about their preference of a candidate.
Financial reporting by Rep Valadao and Dem Bains showed the sharing of some of the same donors.
What’s the Plan suggested campaign donations be made directly to the candidates and not to the DCCC or the DNC.
2. A suggestion was made to ask folks to vote early when possible.
3. Look for candidates with a platform such as:
a. Supreme Court Reform
b. Medicare for All
c. Review their voting record.
4. Discussions about CA’s Jungle Primary.
5. 17 July 2026: Good Trouble Day. More on this later.
Thank you.
