Please remember to report your letter writing activity to the Letter Committee by replying to the Monday Morning Email. Letter #1 by BT (Amendment) This letter will serve as a proposal for an Amendment to the United States Constitution.  A good name for this Amendment could be: “We the People”. Since the beginning of the second Trump administration it has become blatantly apparent that the United States federal Government is not serving in the best interest of her people.  We have marched; we have protested; we have written and called and nothing has put a stop to the chaos. Therefore, we are requesting the creation of the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution.  This Amendment would allow “We the People” to Impeach and Remove the President, the Vice President, the Cabinet and the Supreme Court for high crimes and misdemeanors. Yay Virginia!  MS could use a Governor Spanberger. Governor Spanberger Makes Virginia the 19th State to Enact  National   Popular   Vote  for President The  National   Popular   Vote  Interstate Compact has now been enacted by 19 jurisdictions possessing 222 of the 270 electoral votes needed to activate it.  Six additional states with 65 electoral votes ( Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin ) are especially promising places for obtaining the 48 electoral votes needed before 2028.  If you have contacts in Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, please contact them.  Refer your contact to the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) website.  Once at the NPVIC website, they will simply enter their zip code to send letters to their personal state representatives* asking them to vote for the NPVIC legislation.
