Feb 2026 Report

For the month of Feb 2026, our members reported sending a total of 33 letters to our elected officials.  The subject matter covered a variety of subjects such as:

ICE

EPA

Epstein

Impeachment 

Please continue to report your contact activities and send any responses you may receive to the Letter Committee so that we may post them on our blog.

Have you questioned why we send the same letter each week?  The reason is because our elected officials record the subject that is of importance to their constituents. 

By sending the same letter, we are increasing the probability of them paying attention to what is important to us.

This is a letter we received to protest the outrageous school choice legislation.  Please take the time to send your letter to Speaker Jason White and please let me know you’ve taken action.  jwhite@house.ms.gov August 25, 2025   Jason White, Speaker Mississippi House of Representatives 400 High Street Jackson, MS 39201 VIA HAND DELIVERY   Dear  Speaker  White:   I write to express my disapproval  of any legislation that would  use Mississippi taxpayer dollars to fund private schools.   Among my concerns about any  prospective  “school choice” bill are the following:   ▪  Transferring taxpayer dollars from public to private schools will only reverse the educational gains reflected in the “Mississippi Miracle . ”   To argue that “school choice” would improve upon these  remarkable outcomes seems counterintuitive at best, and disingenuous at worst  ( see  https://www.ncpecoalition.org/vouc...

Letter #1:  Impeachment/Removal of the President  By KJ & BT The U.S. Constitution, in Article VI, mandates that all federal officials be bound by oath or affirmation to support our Constitution. The core of the oath of office is a pledge to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.  Donald Trump needs to be removed from office either by Impeachment or the 25th Amendment. Clearly, Trump is not mentally capable of performing the duties of the President of the United States.   There is never a wrong time to do the right thing.  The time is now.
