Responses from DC

Notice any similarities between the following two letters that were received by two of our members?  Senators Wicker does not reply to our concerns he just sends out form letters.  Wicker needs to “get a life”…his words not mine.

There is a response to these wasteful letters below the form letters.

Dear (M),

Thank you for contacting me regarding funding for Fiscal Year 2026.  I am glad to have the benefit of your views on this issue.

Annual appropriation bills allow the legislative branch to allocate federal dollars among departments and agencies—an important constitutional responsibility.  These funding bills matter to American lives and communities and should be handled with diligence and care.  I believe we should fund the government.  I have voted several times for the House of Representatives-passed continuing resolution, which would immediately reopen the government and extend funding through November 21, 2025.  The continuing resolution would have allowed the government to function while the Senate finishes the appropriations process in a bipartisan way.  Instead, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is holding the appropriations process hostage.

Be assured I will keep your views in mind as Congress considers legislation related to federal funding.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of assistance.

          With best wishes, I am

Sincerely yours,
Roger

Letter by BT (Form Letters)

Dear Senator Wicker:

For years I have written to you and asked you to not send form letters to me when I voice a concern to your office.

And now we have some proof.  You see, we are organized and we can compare responses from our various elected officials.

Why are you sending form letters when constituents voice their concerns?

And stop with the Schumer blame game. Would you sign a bill you haven’t participated in creating?

The Republican Party is no more.  It is the MAGA Party and you are supporting a convicted felon.

Sincerely,
