Dear Sir,

Since Trump has taken office, we have lost $50- 65 billion from international students and tourism alone.  

International students leaving the United States equals to $7 billion dollars loss in 2025 with a projection of $15 billion dollars loss by 2026. Tourism for the United States has lost $12 billion dollars in 2025 with a projection of $25 billion dollars by 2026. This means that 250 - 350 thousand jobs disappearing over the next two years.

43% of top scientists are foreign-born

58% of AL/computer science PhDs are international students

55% of billion-dollar startups have immigrant founders.

University towns being gutted with the loss of international students. The departure of students and faculty has led to layoffs, budget cuts by universities, which means program closures, layoffs, budget deficits and that means less taxes.  Hotels, shops, restaurants, and airports are empty which will led to inflation bankruptcies and commercial real estate defaults. In 2026 this will blow up the U.S. economy.  Inflation from tariffs, lack of labor because of deportation, inflation from tax cuts, layoffs from tech AI and government DOGE cuts will create a perfect storm of bankruptcies of small and big business due to lack of revenue.  The layoffs will lead to commercial real estate defaults and foreclosure of the family farm and homes.

The time is now!  Stand with the people and not with the Billionaires.

Dear Governor Reeves:

I am contacting you today to voice my objection to the deployment of 200 MS National Guards to Washington D.C.

The mayor of DC has said that crime in the District is at a 30 year low.  Meanwhile, Mississippi’s capital is said to be at the top of the list with one of the highest homicide rates in the United States for cities with a population over 130,000. 

But that’s not the real reason I am contacting you.  Mississippians are well aware of the out of control administration led by Donald Trump.  We need our Governor to stand up to Trump’s lawless behavior. Your actions on this and other subjects is feeding Trump’s despicable behavior.  This needs to change now. 

There is never a wrong time to do the right thing.  Please start by recalling Mississippi’s National Guard.

Letter #1:  Impeachment/Removal of the President  By KJ & BT The U.S. Constitution, in Article VI, mandates that all federal officials be bound by oath or affirmation to support our Constitution. The core of the oath of office is a pledge to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.  Donald Trump needs to be removed from office either by Impeachment or the 25th Amendment. Clearly, Trump is not mentally capable of performing the duties of the President of the United States.   There is never a wrong time to do the right thing.  The time is now.
