Until today, I didn’t know I had Committee Members.  Fantastic. 


There is an information sheet for your contact information. If you don’t see your first name on this sheet and would like to join our Committee, add your info to the sheet. Everyone is welcome. 


If you didn’t receive a Monday Morning email on the 28th and would like to send letters to Congress, please add your contact information to the sheet requesting the same. 


If your last name starts with E, F or G, you may not have received a Monday Morning email as this group kept showing an error message. 


If you would prefer a text rather than an email, put your info on the list with a note to send the Monday Morning email via text. 


This point is important: 


We would like to report the number of letters and the subject of each letter that has been sent.  So, if you send a letter or 2 or 3, let me know so your work will be included in the report at our meetings.  Your email to me should look like this:


Hyde-Smith: Subject (number of letters sent)

Wicker: Subject (number of letters sent)

Kelly: Subject (number of letters sent)

Thompson: Subject (number of letters sent)


It would be really helpful if you would send this information to me by Sunday night…

that would be the night before the Monday Morning email.  My email address for this committee will be included in the Monday Morning email.

28 Jul 2025 Letter 1: Subject: Impeachment At a recent Town Hall, we were told: “Impeachment is not the answer”.  So, what is the answer? I beg to differ. Impeachment is the only answer. Our Constitution provides this remedy to remove an elected official for “high crimes and misdemeanors”. We cannot wait for the next election. By then, our democracy will be in shambles.  (For Representatives :  recognize the votes are not presently favorable to pass Articles of Impeachment.  However, we need to know and the world needs to see that a good portion of America will not tolerate an unlawful President.) Letter #1:  Impeachment/Removal of the President  By KJ & BT The U.S. Constitution, in Article VI, mandates that all federal officials be bound by oath or affirmation to support our Constitution. The core of the oath of office is a pledge to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.  Donald Trump needs to be removed from office either by Impeachment or the 25th Amendment. Clearly, Trump is not mentally capable of performing the duties of the President of the United States.   There is never a wrong time to do the right thing.  The time is now.
